The Maltiverse

Malcore is the very definition of Furry Disaster (affectionate). She is an unabashed amplified amalgamation of things I enjoy, a perfect fursona without regard for conventional, well, anything. Her coat is glow-in-the-dark faux fur, her horns are carbon fiber, her blood is gamer juice, her heartbeat is Funny Rave sets on loop.

Role in the Maltiverse

Malcore's purpose is to rave all day every day, and that's what she does. She's the Maltiverse's perpetual techno-driven caffeine high. Her obligatory robot arm serves as a portable ARG drive/manifestation device for MALCORIUM.EXE. Occasionally, she teams up with the other Maltiverse floofers; she holds a particular fondness for Demmy the synthwave demon thing. Immaru tolerates her presence for the sake of conducting scientific experiments together, but her recklessness, hyper-excitement, and sheer audio-visual loudness is a bit much for Immaru to consider her a friend.

Notes

The inspiration for Malcore was a simple one: take a bunch of things dear to me and amalgamate them. She's no clearly defined animal, the closest being an anthro wolf/cat, but that's where the resemblance ends. Her snoot and mouth shape is that of a Flight Rising gaoler dragon; her curved tusk-fangs and stubby wings are a callback to Duke Nukem 3D's protector drone; her mane is borrowed from another OC, a robot named NEoS-VXX-96; and her horns are shaped like that of an OC species, the xenedraan.

Immaru is an official universe hopper, and a xenium-powered crystalpunk engineer prodigy.

Notes

Despite her looks, she is not canonically related to Malcore, but design-wise, she is Malcore's predecessor. I made Immaru first and then thought I needed a floofer that's more directly me, so to speak.
